“ I absolutely love this place! I live in Katy, but I'll make the drive here when I'm in the mood for Thai. I've tried many places, but this one is the best in my opinion! I've had their chicken Pad Se Ewe, chicken Tom Yum soup and shrimp one as well, Yellow Curry with shrimp, Calamari, Lettuce Wraps, and Orange Chicken. Every dish was so tasty with lots of delicious flavor! I can't express how yummy their food is. And then we had desserts! I love me some mango sticky rice! They didn't have it this time, so we tried the custard one and it did not disappoint. Pretty sure I'll be ordering both the next time I come. We also had the fried bananas. It's made like an egg roll and stuffed with banana, coconut and almonds. I'm not a fan of coconut, but I enjoyed this dessert very much. If you're near this place, you must try! Your tummy will be happy! And the people that work here are so sweet and helpful! I enjoy this place every time I visit. ”
“ UPDATE SUMMER 2024: Google thinks I need to update my review. So, go to Lucky Thai for dinner. It is packed at lunch. Take your own beer /wine and enjoy a nice home cooked Thai meal. The lady up front is Noi. She is a sweet lady who is very attentive. The Laab Pork is a good alternate for the appetizer and the Pad Gra Pao (Green Bean Thai style with ground pork) has become a regular thing for us UPDATE January 2024: Google says we came here a dozen times in 2023. I can't say enough about how this is a hidden gem in houston. Don't order all at once. Order the appetizer and soup first. After it arrives, order the rest Best meal combination is as follows Thai Noodle Soup (Chicken) Papaya Salad Pananag Curry Fish or Pork Pad Ke Mao (chicken or pork) Green Beans with ground pork Pad Prik King Chicken or Pork Notable altenatives: Tom Yum Soup, Eggplant with Pork, Pad se Ewe (noodles), Green Curry (Chicken or Pork) This place is BYOB. Bring your own alcohol, she doesn't charge a set up fee. EARLIER (2022, 2023) REVIEW. Favorites are the curries, soups, salads, most of the entrees. The pork takes up flavor the best. The fried fish is good but market price causes the portion to be small. The fish in curry is a better option. Appetizers are okay UPDATE: Been here half a dozen times now. Good food. Good friendly service. Dumplings are okay, nothing special. Pad Thay ... good, nothing special Green Curry, excellent Pad Prik King Fish (Swai), excellent. Papaya Salad, good Thai Noodle Soup, different and nice Dumping Soup, OK nothing special Crab Fried Rice, Imitation crab. Ok. Pleasant surprise. Really good food. Good service. Had fish in curry, the papaya salad, eggplant, appetizer sampler. All very good. Added pork to the eggplant. Flavors were all good. Got 3 out of 5 on spice level and it worked out for all of us. I had to add some extra spice. ”

“ Likely THE best green curry I’ve ever had! My hubs and I stopped in for lunch on 5/5/25 - he had the Monday special, red curry, I had my favorite, the green curry. It was completely full of fresh Chinese eggplant, green beans, and red bell peppers, and the broth was over-the-top to die for. My hubs enjoyed his red curry. This tiny cafe is worth the drive if you don’t live in this area of Houston. We loved our curries - will be back! ”
“ Update: I was able to dine in. The service is amazing the lady greeted us right away and set up a table for us to sit. She was the only one and there were a couple other parties dining in as well as people picking up to go orders and she was quick and attended all of us! The food came out and everything tasted fresh. The Thai coffee was strong and delicious. The dining area is small but cozy and homey perfect for a casual dinner or a cute little date. Plenty of parking available. Original: I have only gotten take out from this place but it's hands down the BEST Thai restaurant on this side of Houston if not all of Houston honestly. Everything I've gotten from here is always fresh and flavorful. Like I said Ive only gotten take out and its always packed up beautifully you can tell they really care about your experience whether you dine in or take it home. ”

“ OMG this is one of the best Thai places I’ve had in a long time. The food is spectacular and so is the service. The portion size even on the kids menu was huge. My food had mushrooms in it but wasn’t listed on the menu. The staff offered to make me a new one without mushrooms. That’s the type of service you should receive everywhere. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. If you’re looking for authentic, flavorful Thai food in a lovely setting, lucky Thai cuisine is the place to go. Ordered the Pad Thai which was some of the best I’ve had in a long time. The location is just off the highway off to the corner in a little strip shopping center. Recommended ”
